Boy Scout Troop 155, known as The Trailblazers, meets most Monday evenings at 7pm throughout the year (except on school holidays) at Williamsburg Baptist Church. Troop 155 enjoys a location near Colonial Williamsburg and the campus of William and Mary and welcomes boys interested in scouting from ages 11 (or having completed 5th grade) through age 17.
Our scouts are divided into several patrols within the troop and each are led by an elected scout patrol leader. The troop is boy-led with the scoutmaster and adult assistant scout masters guiding, teaching, and overseeing the scout troop meetings.
During our meetings the boys work on such things as character building, leadership skills, camping skills, and citizenship. There is at least one weekend outing scheduled per month. These allow the scouts to use their scout skills doing a variety of activities such as camping, hiking, biking, canoeing, skiing, rock climbing as well as service projects. Summer scout camp is also a great opportunity for the boys to learn new skills and to enjoy the great outdoors. Please explore our troop calendar (below) to see what activities our troop has planned in the next few months.
