What's Your #OneThing?

As we prepare for 2026, we’re excited about all the ways God has shown up in our community. We want to keep that good work going.

For our 2026 pledge campaign, we’re asking you to consider one thing you can offer that’s within your means that you’re not currently doing.

What do we mean by that?

First, what’s a pledge?

A pledge is simply a commitment saying what you plan to contribute to the work of WBC in 2026. Knowing what people plan to give throughout 2026 helps us plan the budget.

But we also know that you amazing people are so much more than whatever’s in your bank account. We want to honor the ways in which God’s blessed you in other ways, too.

We invite you to consider #OneThing you might offer of your time, talents, or treasures to the work of WBC.

There are plenty of things to choose from:

Increase your pledge commitment by 1% (or more)
Volunteer for one church or community event a quarter (like a Children and Youth event, the Winter Warming Shelter, etc.)
Lead a moment of worship 5-6 times a year
Start giving monetarily to WBC for the first time
Consider adding WBC to your will

Please remember: you can change your pledge anytime throughout the year—up or down! You can adjust your pledge through your REALM account or contact the church office for assistance. Please take time to consider prayerfully what God is leading you to give to our ministry together.
