On July 27, 2005, a group of children from WBC traveled to Richmond to learn about ministry. A stop at the Virginia Baptist Historical Society provided a lesson on religious liberty and Virginia missionaries, and about ministers in Virginia. To learn where ministers are trained, the group visited Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond where they enjoyed several activities, lunch, and a tour. All the children took part in a coloring contest judged by President Tom Graves.
